Where Did It Go?

 Where did it go?
 I just had it!
 Then it slipped my jaws
 Next time I see it
 I’m going to catch it
 
 It makes me dizzy every time
 It must have powers
 My butt hurts
 But I am going to show it next time
 Nothing escapes my jaws
 
 My human keeps laughing 
 Asking for a tail, he must’ve lost it
 But I don’t know that word yet
 I know where my ball is
 I know where my toy is
 And I know who’s a good boy
 But I don’t know where the tail is
 
 Anyway, I can’t be distracted
 In circles and circles I go
 Always a step ahead of me
 Always a little faster than me
 When I caught my ball it stayed
 When I caught my toy it stayed
 But this one is still out there
